Why Shamanic Healing Doesn't Follow a Formula

Why Shamanic Healing Doesn't Follow a Formula

Every other kind of support I offer, somatics, hypnotherapy, Reiki, has a shape to it. A process, a sequence, something reasonably consistent from person to person. Shamanic healing is different, and I think it's worth explaining why.

There are stages to how I work, specific steps, in a specific order. But what happens within those stages has a wildness to it, because I'm not the one deciding it. My allies are. And they see something I can't: a view of you across more than this one lifetime.

Some people arrive with a very clear reason for wanting healing. Others just know something feels off, that they've been out of balance for a while without being able to name why. Either way, what actually happens in the session isn't something I diagnose in advance, and it isn't something you diagnose either. My allies reveal that, not me, and not you.

This is also why the whole process resists a tidy timeline. Spirit doesn't work in straight lines. Time and space, past, present, future, are a human framework, not a spiritual one. In that world, there is only now. Which means the healing itself can reach backward and affect what's already happened. It's not unusual for someone to start feeling different in the days before their session even takes place, because the moment you decide to do this work, something has already shifted, whether the healing has technically happened yet or not.

So if it feels like I can't give you a neat, predictable answer to "what will happen," that's true, and it's exactly the point. The formula isn't mine to give. It's revealed, each time, for the person in front of me.

With love,
