In hypnotherapy, you’re gently guided into a state of trance. Trance is a natural state that everyone experiences, similar to being absorbed in a guided meditation, daydreaming, or those moments when you’ve driven from A to B and realised you don’t quite remember the journey because your mind was elsewhere.
You’re not asleep, and you will not lose control. Most people experience trance as focused, very relaxing, and surprisingly familiar.
No. You remain aware and in control throughout the session. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and you can speak, move, or stop at any time.
The work supports change, but nothing happens without your participation and consent.
Sessions are held online via Zoom and last 90 minutes.
Each case study session includes a full intake, focused therapeutic work, and personalised next steps.
If, following the session, further work is clinically appropriate, additional sessions can be discussed and booked separately.

Online hypnotherapy works beautifully when the space around you supports the work. Before your session, please ensure you have:
• A stable and reliable internet connection
• A quiet, private room where you feel comfortable speaking confidentially
• A device with working camera and audio
• A space where you will not be disturbed for the full session
This allows your nervous system to settle and ensures we can work safely and without interruption.

These hypnotherapy sessions are offered to adults aged 18 and over.
Hypnotherapy isn't appropriate for everyone, particularly where there are certain psychiatric conditions or active crises requiring different support. That's why every enquiry includes a short medical screening, it keeps the work safe and ensures you're getting the right kind of help. I'll always let you know what I find before any booking or payment takes place.
After submitting your enquiry, you’ll automatically receive a medical form and informed consent form to complete.
This helps ensure the work is safe, appropriate, and tailored to you. Once I have reviewed all information, I will be in touch to confirm the next steps.
No. Booking and payment only happen once suitability has been confirmed.
You won’t be asked to book a session unless we’ve both agreed that hypnotherapy is appropriate.
